Great Places to eat and drink.
The Bulls Head
Welcome!” That’s been the heartfelt greeting here since medieval times, when an inn was most likely established to serve the weekly market on the green, at the core of our traditional Peak District village, Monyash. Today, the market is only once a year, but the welcome is just as warm and traditional, as we invite you to sample some of the finest food and drink for miles around, in the historic and friendly atmosphere that is The Bull’s Head.
Inside you will find a cheerful variety of spacious bars and dining rooms to suit all tastes and occasions, while the celebrated beer garden leads on to the brilliantly designed village play park, guaranteed to keep children of all ages happily amused.
There is also a sunny side-terrace and, of course, the village green at the front, always alive on Summer weekends with simple pleasures, from morris dancing to informal picnics.

Thornbridge Brewery
The brewery was originally based in the outbuildings of Thornbridge Hall, surrounded by beautiful gardens within the 100-acre estate. The buildings were renovated in 2004 in preparation for the brewery installation. Jim Harrison and Simon Webster recruited two young brewers, keen to kick-start their brewing career. Their first brew was Lord Marples, a 4% classic bitter, which went on to become a core Thornbridge beer

Peak Ales
Peak Ales Brewery produces traditional real ales in the stunning landscape of the Derbyshire Dales. It is run by Robert and Debra Evans and a team whose combined knowledge and experience in producing Real Ale Craft Beers has kept the business running since 2005.
Born out of love and the challenges of setting up their own micro-brewery, Robert and Debra’s ales have won numerous National awards in both cask and bottle.
As well as selling to hotels, pubs and retail outlets around the Peak District, Peak Ales is open to the public, with a shop at the barn or availabilty online.
